We set out with volunteers holding placards that read "Free Hugs For Peace" on the streets of Mumbai.
Common citizens from all castes, classes and religions - strangers, walking on the street - expressed their sentiments and their support for peace by hugging our volunteers, in a first of its kind show for peace in India.
The road show was conducted at Churchgate on the 6th January 2007 and at Shivaji Park, Matunga & Bandra on 25th of January 2007.

These are real time, unscripted,
impromptu responses of people who happened
to be walking on the street at the time of the day we conducted the campaign.
